In einer australischen Quizshow soll der
klügste Mann Australiens gekürt werden. Im
Finale um die ausgelobte Million $ stehen
schließlich ein Pfarrer und ein Schafhirte.
Die letzte Aufgabe lautet, ein Gedicht mit
dem Reimwort "Timbuktu" zu
erfinden.
Als erstes trägt der Pfarrer vor:
"I've been a father all my life,
had no children, had no wife,
I read the bible through and through
on my way to Timbuktu."
Das Publikum rast, alle wähnen den Pfarrer
bereits als Gewinner -
doch der Schafhirte legt nach:
"When Tim and I to Brisbane went
we met three ladies cheap to rent
they were three and we were two
so I booked one and Tim booked two."
